The first of two IndieCross CDs will be released in digital download and CD formats in late September. Produced by Layne McDonald, these song collections will be geared toward sharing the best of the independent christian artists across the country. The first CDs are mainly southern bands, but plans to expand the projects in coming years also cover Canada and English speaking musicians in Mexico. "This is an exciting time in Christianity. The passion to spread the message in love and without judgement is seeing much success." A local church has already witnessed over 7,000 baptisms this year, in Birmingham, Alabama. LWM Studios hopes that these CDs will help aid the effort to convert the country back to a God through love, grace, and hope for a better place for future generations. "This music is made to heal. IndieCross (www.indiecross.org), founded by Layne McDonald, will start streaming the first episode of independent Christian music. The two hour show will be hosted by Layne and will feature twenty minute stretches of music, following quick messages by Layne about events, media, and faith-based messages. The show is a spin off of Layne's past radio show, called Club 139 Radio, which was aired in New York for a couple of months. LWM Studios has seen immense growth in online community support. With over 1000 members on MySpace added weekly, the growth of their original site IndieCross (www.indiecross.org), and over 30 other sites generating interest, this years productions will be an interesting spectacle to watch, as support is concerned. "There has been a lot of support for our mission and we are expecting to see much more support, as the productions start to role out and take effect on those that see them. This is truly an exciting time for LWM Studios."
